Terms and Conditions

Article 1: Definitions

1. Mel's Place, located in Landgraaf, Chamber of Commerce number 14096158, is referred to in these general terms and conditions as a service provider or seller.

2. The seller's other party is referred to as the client in these general terms and conditions.

3. The parties are service provider and client together.

4. The agreement means the purchase agreement between the parties.

 

Article 2: Applicability of general terms and conditions

1. These conditions apply to all quotations, offers, agreements and deliveries of services or goods by or on behalf of the service provider/seller.

2. Deviation from these conditions is only possible if this has been expressly agreed in writing by the parties.

 

Article 3: Payment

1. The full purchase price is always paid immediately in the salon.

2. For reservations by new customers, online, by telephone or in store, a deposit of 20% is expected. In that case, the client will receive proof of the reservation and prepayment.

3. If the client does not pay on time, he is in default. If the client remains in default, the service provider/seller is entitled to suspend the obligations until the buyer has fulfilled his payment obligation.

4. If the client remains in default, the service provider/seller will proceed to collection. The costs related to this collection will be borne by the client. These collection costs are calculated on the basis of the Decree on compensation for extrajudicial collection costs.

5. If the client refuses to cooperate in the execution of the assignment by the service provider/seller, he is still obliged to pay the agreed price to the service provider/seller.

6. For a booking above €75, we require a 20% deposit.

 

Article 4: Cancellation/no show

1. Cancellation of an appointment must be made at least 48 hours before the agreed time.

2. In case of cancellation within 48 hours before the appointment:

a. Illness; If the appointment is rescheduled within a week, no costs will be charged. Rescheduling the appointment for longer than a week will cost 20% of the cost.

b. Another reason; If the appointment is rescheduled within a week and it is the first time, 50% of the cost price will be charged. From the second time and more, 100% of the cost price will be charged.

3. No/show; 100% of the cost price will be charged.

4. If the client is 10 or more late, the appointment will be rescheduled and 50% of the cost will be charged.

 

Article 5: Safe treatment

In order to be able to perform our profession safely, we need to know some medical information (and safely record it in our system). We expect the client to answer these questions honestly. Should there be any changes in the future regarding underlying diseases and/or medication use, please let us know.

 

Article 6: Prices

We use the prices stated on our website or online booking system. Prices only differ during discount promotions.

 

Article 7: Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are available for any price, validity is 1 year. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

 

Article 8: Diplomas

Our employees are all qualified. Our medical pedicures are registered with the KRP.
